Shaniyat Chowdhury is a political organizer from Queens, NY. His extensive political background dates back to being a legislative aide in the New York State Assembly in 2017, and served as a lead organizer and assistant to AOC in her 2018 historic campaign. Shaniyat ran for Congress in NY-5 in the midst of the 2020 pandemic. He wants to continue to serve grassroots efforts throughout the nation having worked in various roles in nonprofits, grant writing, and social media consultation.
