Cindy Yang is an Economics and International Studies student at American University. Her work in community-based politics is inspired by her commitment to empowering everyday citizens and her belief in
the power of local communities.

Outside of her work, Cindy enjoys watching movies, visiting museums, and learning languages (she is currently working on her fluency in Chinese!).
