POSITION OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a Junior Copywriter to support our email fundraising and advocacy programs. This role is ideal for someone who loves writing, wants to grow in political communications, and is excited to learn how high-performing campaign copy actually works.

You’ll work closely with our Email Director and campaign teams to draft, edit, and test emails that drive engagement, donations, and action.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Write and edit fundraising, advocacy, and engagement emails

• Help develop subject lines, preview text, and A/B test variations

• Revise copy based on performance data and feedback

• Maintain consistent voice and messaging across campaigns

• Support rapid-response writing for urgent political moments

• Proofread emails for clarity, tone, and accuracy

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong writing skills and attention to detail

• Interest in political campaigns, nonprofits, or advocacy work

• Ability to take feedback and turn edits quickly

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

• Familiarity with email platforms or CRMs is a plus, but not required
