Jesse Whisler is the Director of Fundraising at Sole Strategies, where she leads messaging and donor engagement strategies for progressive campaigns across the country. She is based in Northwest Washington, DC.

Originally from Chicago, Jesse got her start in politics as a Canvasser before becoming a Call Time Manager and eventually a General Consultant. She attended American University’s School of Public Affairs for her Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Legal Institutions, Economics, and Government (CLEG); and is an alum of the Public Affairs and Advocacy Institute at American University. She earned her Associate’s Degree in Political Science from Triton College, where she first joined local community, workplace, and campaign organizing efforts.

Outside of the campaigning world, Jesse loves the arts. She can be found at local galleries, stage performances, or on the floor of her studio throwing things together with a bit of hot glue and determination.
